Non-surgical Rhinoplasty

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is virtually painless. A topical anaesthetic may be applied to ensure comfort during the treatment. 

Results generally last over 2 years, depending on issues treated and the individual's metabolism. 

There’s no recovery time required, and most patients can resume normal activities right after the procedure. 

Common side effects include mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the treated areas, which typically resolve within a few days. Rare risks include migration or vascular complications, which are minimised when performed by an experienced practitioner and the utilisation of ultrasound examination.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is ideal for minor cosmetic enhancements but cannot address structural or functional issues. Surgical rhinoplasty is necessary for permanent and more dramatic changes. 

Mild swelling, redness or tenderness at the treated areas is normal and usually settles within a few days. Most importantly, avoid pressure on the nose: do not rest glasses or sunglasses on the bridge for about two weeks, and avoid rubbing, massaging or sleeping face-down on the area. Don't apply make-up for the rest of the day and keep the skin clean. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas, steam rooms and very hot showers for 24-48 hours, and stay out of direct sun while applying SPF 30+ daily. Take paracetamol rather than anti-inflammatories for any discomfort and use a cool compress if needed.
